Do you have a photo showing how many pores per mm as should be 2-3 or can be confused with P.durus which has 4-7 pores per mm.I found this last week,it is on the carousel below,nice to have found something with the weather not being that good at the moment.If you don't have a photo but did know then that is fine too it is just that I like to know before agreeing as so many fungi are rather difficult to agree on by photo alone
Definitely no more than 2-3 per mm.
Although the term "mushroom" can be used loosely,like the M in D.M.H., it is generally reserved for the fleshy members of Agaricales and Boletales.
Dispite its appearance this is a woody polyporaceae fungi and calling it a mushroom should IMO be avoided =)
