Palmate?

Hmmm - tricky one this - it has the "double row of spots - top and bottom of the tail" that are typical of Plamates BUT they don't look quite "spotty" enough. I've been out trapping in ponds with both Smooth and Palmate newts and have found quite a few female Smooth newts looking like this. The toes also look a little long. I'd want to see the underside for a definate ID with this one.
