Description:

Smallish spherical galls attached to an Oak twig. Not smooth to the touch like Oak Marbles but lumpy, hence Oak Apples caused by Biorhiza pallida (1st generation). The offspring from these galls will in time lay their eggs in the root system (2nd generation).
