Was about to photograph this spider when it scuttled off and caught a smaller one. This is 2 images blended to show as much detail of hunter and prey as possible.

I agree with Dennis in that tarsal spines are not visible and therefore this probably is bathyphantes.
However a note of caution, the tarsi are not clearly in focus, and spines can break (witness left tibia 1, only 1 dorsal spine visible, should be 2, 2 are visible on left tibia 2, so this also must have 2 on tibia 1, but the proximal one is missing, presumably broken).
