Found on damp wall in shaded woodland in Kennall Vale, Cornwall

Can't really tell from the photo but this might be a moss protonema mass (what you get when spores first germinate and grow) or a filamentous alga of some sort.
I am requesting that you add the tag Bryophyte as this will act as a further aid to its likely ID by virtue of attracting those who specialise in mosses and liverworts. Thanks in advance,
