Taken in our lodge at Burnbank, Spean Bridge. I have a large backlog of photo`s to process, hence the date of the observation.

Syndemis musculana

Thanks Richard. Yes, I agree it does look much more likely to be S. musculana. That seems to be quite a variable species - I already have photos of a specimen that I found in Kent, that I have tentatively identified as this species, which superficially looks very different - basal and sub-basal fasciae indistinct and median fascia only strongly defined along its basal margin.
