Discarded eggs from common frog

These frogs were caught and consumed by a Buzzard. I initially had spotted the bird low in a pine tree over the pond but on approching, it flew off. Examining the spawn I noticed blackened leaves also were present nearby. The pond being stagnent stains any leaves that fall into it and I took this as evidence that the Buzzard dropped down from its perch and caught frogs from the shallow margins bringing with it these leaves also. Dont see how crows or Herons could of transported these leaves as they dont grasp prey with their feet.
