I am unsure as to what species this is...I'm relatively new to identifying fungi and would really appreciate some help!
Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
No interactions present.
when hopeing for an ID with fungi a minimum reqirement is to also include a close up of the underside and ideally tree type, if growing on one.
you may be right with your ID but it is far from certain, however the distinct pore bearing surface would of confirmed or rejected if included :-)
All given ID's are subject to error/ommissions. Please seek independent verification before acting on ANY advice given. BE SAFE =)
I was about to say the same as D.H.M also it's helpful if the specimen is relatively fresh
Thank you I'm doing this for a project in a biology class, so I am very new at this but I appreciate the feedback
