I was surveying for badgers and came across this. All I can describe it as is like redcurrant jelly, with deer hair(I believe)around the outside.

Could it be yew berries? - they are eaten by badgers
The substance had no seeds or discernible undigested matter.It was very runny and uniform in colour. It was at the bottom of a ditch but not in a hole so not a badger latrine.
