Description:

Downy leaves and stem, yellow flowers. I can't key it out as a clover. Growing in a species-rich roadside verge.

Thanks Chris. I did think it could be Black Medick but the leaves didn't appear to be mucronate.

Mucronate

I had to look up what "mucronate" meant but the leaf described seems to have a clear point and I think I can also see a point on a leaf to the left of that one.
