Group of white lichens on a the west walling rock at Ladybower resevoir Peak District

Immature white lichens on rocks and walls

Rule 1:

Do not attempt to identify immature white lichens on rocks and walls

I could guess, but when they start producing fruitbodies, it's amazing how wrong you can be. (Or, at least, I can be.)
