Description:

Cluster of brackets growing on large stump. Largest 35cm across. Upper surface brown colouration in the main, but with concentric bands of grey and white. Feels rubbery at edge and more cork-like in centre. Underside white with deep irregular slots. Some pore shaped and some longer and more maze-like.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

I suspect that this apparent size was as a result of several individual brackets merging horizontally.
