What makes you think it is that cross? Probably the most likely one but the body colour seems quite dark making me wonder if there is something like Brent in there too.
The body colour is scarcely darker than that of the Greylag, really. I am sure the hybrid mentioned will be correct...incredibly unlikely that a Brent Goose would have mated with a Canada.

I knew the picture would generate some comment though!
I've seen several Greylag/Canada crosses at Paxton before that have obvious Canada markings, but not this one. But it's BIG - bigger that the Greylag - and Brents are quite small. Though to what extent size might be an indicator of parent bird I don't know.
I've added another picture, with extended wings, if that helps.
Any thoughts on the viability of the cross? Would it be fertile, do you think?
