The pink crust-fungi is the subject. Usually resupinate.
Of course, for Witches' Butter (below) read Yellow Brain - wholly inappropriate but more correct.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Of course, I now know that witches do not like yellow butter (Tramella mesenterica), preferring the black stuff (Exidia nigricans).
So I meant Yellow Brain ('witches' a poor name)
