No way a Dunnnock Wrong colour too complex a song.Wrong head and beak shape.Smaller than a sparrow. We have all three sparrows as regular visitors/residents. Early chiff-chaff or garden warbler, though again two complex song for chiff-chaff. Will have to try and record it as not good at describing song.
We'll have to agree to differ on this one. The colour is right for a Dunnock which has a very melodious song, one of the best you'll hear.

Nothing in the photos is inconsistent with Dunnock. Upload a song if possible... The blue-grey head and underside contrasting with more chestnut wings, stout pinky legs and a sharp-looking rather triangular black bill don't leave much else to offer. Dunnocks are somewhat smaller than sparrows.

It sounds like a Dunnock to me.
I know that short song better than I know the bird. It is a Dunnock.
Full marks for recording it John.
