Description:

Caught in a fish trap in Fishguard Harbour last summer. Can be common in our waters, sometimes referred to as the Atlantic bobtail.

Very nice, I always wonder how to be sure it is the little cuttlefish and not a juvenile cuttlefish? Maybe you can help me out? Your pic above certainly does look good for a Sepiola.

Looks right size (for a full-grown one), & semicircular fins of a 'bobtail' species,dead I assume from lack of colours & that the little funnel between the eyes is it's siphon so it's upside down.
