These fungi have just appeared on my rabbit dung sample.I presume the tiny blackish clubs on top are the spore bearers?


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Thanks Mal, that's great. Going to have get myself a decent microscope for spores etc.
I was quite pleased with the photo considering it was half a second exposure and hand held in poor light.I may also have to invest in a tripod as well. Expensive business this mycology :-)
