Blue weevils

I have the impression that the thorax of today’s weevil is of the same lustrous blue as the abdomen whereas the thorax of a blue weevil that I previously submitted [“Small weevil (cont.)” – to iSpot 19/07/2012] tended more towards to matt grey (Image 4). The previous weevil occurs in “rough vegetation” in the body of our Reserve, mainly on dock as I recollect, so we are just possibly looking at two species that occupy different habitats.
