On sandy bank in acid soil, beech woodland. Thallus up to 1cm broad. I thought was going to be easy, but I can't see anything obvious...

That is very unlike my last (and only) other observation of M. polymorpha, though I can see a resemblance to this one.
Looking at the sample of mine I brought home, there aren't any cups at all, though one thallus has some small volcano-like craters
Might be one of the pellias in that case
