Unless someone more confident

Unless someone more confident says otherwise, I think we'd be safer with Ulotia sp. or Ulotia crispa/bruchii. I also find the narrowing-towards-the-mouth character difficult to interpret! nice series of picture by the way,
Cheers

Thanks!

While going through my notes from yesterday's course, I'm now 99% sure that this is the one that was positively IDd as bruchii.

I was very keen to get all the pictures up while the memory was still fresh. It was a really inspiring day out. Huge thanks to Graeme Lyons for running it (and do check out his blog...).

I think you are right

I think you are right, Brad. Capsules appear different shape from those in your photo of U. crispa. As you said, good day out and your photographs are a good aide-memoire.
