ID notes

Well, all I can really say is that it was in the right habitat for the species and resembles some photos I found on line here: http://ednieuw.home.xs4all.nl/Spiders/Nesticidae/Nesticidae.htm - and that an arachnologist said that one of my photos was probably this species, but he didn't say which photo. Which is all a bit vague to call an actual "ID note."

Its not nesticus

Its not nesticus for the reasons I've given. Primarily the leg spines that are just visible - that's a deal breaker.

Google the two species and concentrate on the spines on the fore legs - especially the tibia.

I asked for notes because the body markings are quite similar to a number of lookalikes.
As mattprince says - it's the leg spines (it often is!).
I'm with Metallina but cannot be certain enough to agree.
