Description:

Observed in a farm lane down Newport Wetlands, approximately 1km due east of the coal fired power station at Newport.
Not sure if this is even correct at genus level, but it could be either R. farinacae or R. calicaris. Just started looking at lichens so very new and inexperienced. Thanks in advance for all help and pointers.

Yes...

mostly Ramalina. I'd normally go with R. farinacea, but the coastal location permits a slim possibility of R. subfarinacea, normally found on rocks.
