Comb-clawed beetle (Heliotaurus ruficollis) feeding on Giant fennel flowers (Ferrula communis) on a clifftop with the sea in the background, Lagos, Algarve, Portugal.
Description:

Masses of these distinctive orange and black tenebrionids (Alleculidae) were seen feeding on the many Giant fennel flowers on a coastal headland near Lagos, Portugal.
