Neutral grassland Newbridge Slopes Donkey Field
No interactions present.
NB A proven bee orchid from two previous seasons has been seen in the sames habitat 120m NW. It looks just the same at this point.
The difficulty is keeping the slugs off. Phosphate-based pellets will enrich the soil and the plants will be overgrown, soda bottle cylinders cause overheating and rotting. That leaves sharp grit, which is unnatural. Any ideas?
We are now up to 6 subjects in the patch of this field unaffected by Glyphosate. I wonder how many have been killed by our Council?
