FSC Biodiversity Fellows courses

As you may have seen in our news section, the Field Studies Council is running a whole series of courses on recording wildlife across a wide range of species groups.

The courses are booking up fast, but if you're within reach of Somerset there is still an opportunity to join Pat Wolseley of the British Lichen Society for a course on lichens and their habitats:

  • Lichens as Ecological Indicators of Priority habitats at Nettlecombe Hall Field Centre in Somerset, with Pat Wolseley, on 19th–21st July 2013

Pat is a leading expert on lichens, and a great enthusiast for helping people discover more about them. She was one of the people behind the OPAL air quality survey, and has also contributed a range of iSpot's keys to lichens.
