A black rust(?) was found on a single raspberry leaf growing (as an escape?) in Scots pine/birch/aspen woodland.
Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
No interactions present.
looks almost like Rhytisma acerinum - might be worth checking with Ern
All the best
Thanks for your suggestion David. I am quite happy with the alternative Mycosphaerella ribis, the inner parts of the leaf and rust match up quite well with what I saw under the microscope before putting the photo on iSpot. Thanks for your help.

I not sure M.ribis has been recorded in UK and hence my more general ID.

The very small plant was growing in woodland close to houses so not 100% certain it is a true Rubus. I have added all the other photos I have to help with any ID. There are 4 spots on NBN for M. ribis.
I came across this fungus whilst searching the internet which is similar. I will see if Ern, as David suggests, would be happy to look at the leaf.
Thanks for your help
