Really interesting find
It was unusual for the Sefton Coast also with it being almost entirely sand! It seems to be taking advantage of some rock armour around a pipe.
I am happy to agree the Latin name, but I have known this only as Honeycomb worm (and pedantically - it is not the worm spotted but its home).
Good point! Though at least the casts suggest it is home?
