There seems to be a lot of these in our area, yet I rememebr one year them not even being mentioned in the floral atlas. I was amazed to find that their seed is spread by snails
I didn't know that. I wouldn't say they were common but I have seen about 3-4 in the area, they really stand out with that big green flower spike.
