Description:

fungi growing on a very large, decaying, log - the "torso" (trunk) of possibly a beech tree rather than a sycamore due to very large girth, circa +3ft

Identifications

the wood substrait looks to have been on the ground for some time. O.mucida is more usually found high up in the bows.
