Description:

Taken last November in the Botanical Gardens, Oxford. At first glance, I thought this was a dying tree!
But of course it wasn't dying, it's deciduous.
An impressively large specimen.

And now I have one of my own!

Just bought one for myself, it's a mere three feet tall, and I'm keeping it in a pot so that it doesn't fulfill the "rapid early growth" part of its lifecycle!
