In past seasons I've come across them over-wintering on the bark & twigs of an Ash tree, prior to that on the underside of Ivy leaves, amongst the leaves of Yew & Sequoia sempervirens. They don't seem to be as numerous since the 'Quins came along or is it just coincidence.
