Green AASC

The adult bird with green ring AASC was ringed at Pionierinsel Lühe (west of Hamburg) Germany as a pullus on 17th June 2006. Regularly recorded in winter at Great Yarmouth. Seems to have spent its summers on the continent (records from Sophiapolder in the Netherlands in April 2008 with a partner, and back at Pionierinsel in April 2010).

Colour ringing

...is just incredibly valuable, isn't it? Thanks for the details; really interesting to know where they are coming from.

Still don't see many of them oop 'ere in Yorkshire.

Yorkshire

they seem not to be very common there. You have got good sites a bit up the coast (http://medgull.free.fr/pages/durham.php) and down (http://medgull.free.fr/pages/yarmouth.php) so it could happen.
