What I think is a marble gall, carefully attached to an oak tree. Found near the Shannon Estuary.

What are the differences

What are the differences between Andricus Kollari and Biorhiza Pallida? Both are from the Cynipade order and are remarkably simular, although all of the examples I've seen of Biorhiza Pallida appear paler in colour and more textured that this gall here.
