Quince Jelly

If this is quince, it's possible to make very nice jelly from the fruit. The plant also has an attractive flower in the winter, which is why we planted it in our garden.

But don't eat anything ...

Fruit is Japanese Quince

Japanese Quince, as Quince is Cydonia oblonga, with fruits that have stone-cells in the fruit flesh as do pears. Also seeds are numerous Chaenomeles whereas Cydonia is more like apple or pear for numbers.
