Not Pinus nigra...

...the needles would be longer, 4" or more (10cm+).

Brave of it to grow halfway up a rock, eh?

Needle length?

As it is growing out of a wall / rock the needle length (and colour) may not be typical - look at the differences between the two different year's needles - it is running out of nutrients!

The lack of papery bud scales is the best determinant of species.
