Fungus-02a 29-01-13

This has been growing on my dust bin locker door for about 6 weeks.
It started off a lot pinker.
I feel that it might have been in the plywood from the start.
Is it a native species?

I think the heat used when forming the ply would of killed any spores. Yes this is a native species usually found on Elder ;-)
