Reddish crust fungus with raised nodules and cream white border on growths. Growing on dead branch in mixed deciduous woodland.
Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

bleeding oak crust will live up to its name if you scratch the pore bearing surface, this responds is always worth checking ;-)
I should be back there this weekend I'm fairly sure I can find it again, if its still there I'll give it a scratch, thanks, Paul
