Description:

Particularly interested in the pink blobby lichen, though I'd be interested in the ID of any of the species here. On branches of Buddleia. Apologies for the terrible photographs - phone camera

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Lichens

The yellow lichen is Xanthoria parietina, the greyish-blue is either Physcia tenella or P. adscendens.

The 'pink blobby' is a lichenicolous fungus (parasitic on lichens) and might be Illosporiopsis christiansenii but detail is vital for trying to identify lichens!
