Description:

Distintictive long flattened bill. The wing markings of the landing birds ID'd these for me, with the blue and green panels and white line.

Teal?

Hi Bogey,

It's hard to see these properly even zooming in but most of them have more of a Teal 'jizz' to me, although I can't see a definite white edge to the wing to confirm this. The head shape and bill doesn't seem bulky enough for Shoveler. However, there may well be more than one species as some of the birds look larger in some photos.

Based just on the photos, I'd probably stick with Anas sp to be on the safe side.
