Description:

Unusual willowherb with flowers and long seed pods that split. Smooth round stems and leaves with heavily indented veins and fine teeth. Flowers white with club shaped stigma although they turn pink later (some evidence in last photo)

Thanks Cicuta58 I think E.ciliatum is a possibility but references seem to be very conflicting. It is supposed to have 4 ridges and hairs whereas my spot seems smooth. Lots of photos of E.ciliatum on Google seem far narrower than mine. One photo that I didnt download shows leaf stalks running down the stem a short way (a bit like Comfrey) but none of my books give this as a key point.
