On first very quick sight I thought this was a water rail, imagine that black blob on the tail is the beginning of an eye partly obscured by vegetation and head in the bush. however on looking more closely i agree with dunnock.
Thanks for that. I spotted this bird in my garden and and we tend to get a lot of Dunnocks so I'm reasonably happy that the ID is correct.
