Ornamental evergreen introduced into parkland in close proximity to other evergreens.

Crushing the foliage of some of these trees can be a good clue to their identity - if it was Lawson's cypress it would have smelt of parsley. Foliage and cones look right, but the 'smell test' can help clinch the id on some occasions.
