Long story, short version, I read from the wrong notes. As is I am sure the ID is spot on. For the record its association with Fat-hen is a recent discovery.

It's association with fat hen may not have been recorded before but was entirely predicatable. This species can be a serious pest on Chenopodiaceae e.g. sugar beet, mangolds. Incidentally, agriculturalists prefer to drop 'mangold' from its common name (hardly grown now)
Ou arh, takes me back to the late fifties, used as cattle/pig fodder. Worzzel Gumages first head.
