Interesting Martin - it's not

Interesting Martin - it's not possible to enlarge your photos to any extent on my computer but I can't see any of the pronounced zig-zag stems seen in most Google images for L.articulatum? This one seems to be particularly low growing.

On exposed rocky shores the

On exposed rocky shores the plant grows lower than in more sheltered environments. The spathulate leaves remain the same shape as do the narrowed nodes giving the articulated appearance.
