Iron stained crustose lichen
Description:

Patches of crustose lichen with grey areolate thallus growing on siliceous rock. Red-brown iron staining in places. Black lecideine apothecia. Possibly Lecidea lithophila.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
