Blackbird seen exiting from nest hole with fetal sack
No interactions present.
bobthebirder. Having a bad week, my regards.
Looks possible and is more likely to be a starling.
It fooled me, despite nesting in a tree.
Apart from the fact that it is nesting in a hole in a tree, which would be highly unusual (if not completely unheard of) for Blackbirds, the first photo would almost certainly show the yellow eyering if it was a male Blackbird (with the photo enlarged).
There is no eyering visible - as would be expected on a Starling.
