Disturbed in long grass and didn't seem too keen to fly.

lovely moth

Always enjoy seeing the Blood-vein moth, especially a fresh one like this. The dark line that runs across both pairs of wings is assumed to help camouflage the moth as it hides in the undergrowth, by breaking up the typical moth shape.
