Description:

Isidiate branched lichen growing on siliceous rock. Upper surface whitish and isidiate. Lower surface black (especially on left of second picture) and pink at ends of branch (see centre of second picture). Possibly Pseudevernia furfuracea.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Identification

Thanks for help with identification. Revisiting some images of lichens for which I had no possible identities when I took the pictures. Now have suggestions for some but inevitably often still something else. Much appreciate help in considering possible identifications.
