iSpot recommended name

Mick, it should be noted that Calocoris (Grypocoris) stysi is the iSpot recommended name and is the one that links to NBN records from this site, whereas Grypocoris stysi does not.

Grypocoris stysi

Chris,
Before I reply I am going to seek advice from Jim Flanagan, Plant bugs & allies Recording Scheme National Organiser.

Calocoris (Grypocoris) stysi

Mick, I'm sure you are technically correct but for the purposes of iSpot Calocoris (Grypocoris) stysi is not an incorrect ID and as stated links to NBN records.

Re. Grypocoris stysi

Hi Chris,
Update, I did not contact Jim Flanagan, instead went direct to NBN. The NBN Technical Liaison Officer, Graham French took it up, and made a comment in a NBN feed back forum. His reply to my initial contact was as follows:

Thanks Mick

I have forwarded this on to the species dictionary manager at the National History Museum, through the NBN Forum (http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?pid=15951#p15951)

Best wishes

Graham
NBN Technical Liaison Officer

As is I have noted that the carousel is now using Grypocoris stysi as its title.

Edit: Not as I thought as there is still one using the old previous name..?
