Not sure about this one, I need to show the picture to one or two people.

Galls on Carpinus

Having taken some advice the host has been questioned - it seems to be Ulmus not Carpinus. If this is the case then the gall in the foreground is Eriosoma lanuginosum, and the ones in the background are probably mite galls caused by Aceria campstricola.
